Cowan Center for the Arts - northeast of downtown Cowan; destination for concerts, plays, lectures, classes, workshops and other programs.

Cowan Railroad Museum - Cowan's most popular landmark

Cowan Railroad Park - scenic area in downtown Cowan with historic markers and famous landmarks; a railfan's paradise.

Cumberland Mountain Tunnel - Cowan's most significant landmark, though it's not accessible to the general public.

Franklin County's First Court House - replica of Major William Russell's home located in the railroad park.

Historic Downtown Cowan - Cowan's business district located along the railroad, home to several restaurants and specialty shops.

Monterey Station - the area's venue for large events, expositions and trade shows.

Circle E Ranch - guest ranch and equine facility with cabins, campgound, and miles upon miles of hiking trails.  Located on Keith Springs Mountain.

Falls Mill - one of Tennessee's most famous landmarks; a 30-foot water-driven mill and factory museum.

Montana Drive-in Theater - the only drive-in theatre for the entire region!  Three screens with the latest box office hits and top-notch concessions.

Oldham Theater - beautiful, famous and historic two-screen theatre on the downtown square in Winchester.

Old Jail Museum - houses an enormous collection of antiques, photos, and exhibits that tell our area's history.  Located one-block off the Winchester Square.

The University of the South, Sewanee - one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country on a breathtaking campus inspired by Oxford and Cambridge.  The only university in the entire country owned by the Episcopal Church.  Home of the gorgeous and inspirational All Saints Chapel.

Tims Ford State Park - enjoy the lakes and forests of our region to the fullest.  Park features a marina, campground, museum, picnic and recreation areas, public pool, walking/biking trails, and a top-rated Bear Trace golf course.

Walls of Jericho - extensive system of beautiful hiking trails on top of Keith Springs Mountain.

Sister Cities:

Decherd - home to restaurants, shopping, and a historic downtown.  Home to Nissan USA's enormous engine facility.

Estill Springs - home of the beautiful Taylor Creek park.  Shops and a popular restaurant located downtown.  A short distance from Tullahoma and the famous Montana Drive-In.

Huntland - quaint rural community near Huntsville, Alabama with several historic homes.

Monteagle - very popular mountain town with restaurants, shopping, cabin rentals, and festivals.  Home to the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly and the DuBose Conference Center.

Sewanee - small, historic business community with restaurants and shopping located near The University of the South.  Several hiking trails and scenic overlooks are in the area as well.

South Pittsburg - "The Tidiest Town in Tennessee" with a vibrant downtown business district.  Home of Lodge Manufacturing, maker of cast iron skillets, and the National Cornbread Festival.

Tullahoma - a town as unique as its name.  Restaurants and shopping throughout the area including several in the historic downtown; also home to the famous Beachcraft Museum.  Only a few miles from both the Jack Daniel's Distillery and the George Dickel Distrillery.

Winchester - home to the beautifully restored Court House Square with shops and restaurants.  Also home to the Jail Museum and the Oldham Theatre.
